Spring = Grilling and chilling

There is not much better for dinner than that first grilled steak of the season. Thank you, Son -in-love Donny for the perfectly grilled Dale's Steak sauce marinated steak. Of course pushing my grandbaby girls on the swing at sundown to the smell of the grill wasn't too hard to bear either. Next, I sat down to eat beside Emma, my 4 year old beauty and we held hands and she blessed the food. Oh boy, time to use the old steak knife and cut my first bite of pink in the middle juicy ribeye steak. You almost want to suck the heck out of each bite so you can savor the flavor! The roasted fresh potatoes with rosemary were pretty good also.

The wonderful end to this perfect spring dinner had to be the Brownie Pizza that each person added their favorite toppings to. From fresh fruit to caramel and fudge sauce and of course whipped cream. Oh how sweet my little baby darlings looked at the end of that desert. Meme and Papa kissed the babies good night and drove off into the night to come home to our quiet empty house and rub our full tummies and look forward to tomorrow....church and Pizza.
