Insomnia is not fun-neither is a mouse in the house

So here I sit at two in the morning with a case of insomnia. It’s not fun. What will be less fun will be tomorrow at work when I am bone tired. I think that Menopause is a mean trick invented by MEN wanting us to Pause in our sleeping habits and wanting us to sweat more than in our earlier life. I wish  we could retaliate with a Herobust –and they would get to feel the joy of childbirth and carrying boobs around on their chest all their adult lives. Just a random thought as I sit here awake tonight.

Also, I can hear the song playing in my head “There’s a stranger in my house”-there is and this stranger is a mouse! Boy he’s having lots of fun tormenting me. That’s probably why I can not sleep, I hear his little pitter patter as he scurry's about looking for food!!!!!I don’t want to use DCon and smell him for weeks and he is to smart to run onto the glue strips we’ve sat out.

Go home little mouse back to the Fields and bugs or I just might investigate getting a big cat to eat you!!!!

Dear Lord, I am going back to my warm bed and I just want to thank you for all the good things in my life. I do count it all joy, whenever I face trials of many kinds, because I know that the testing of my faith develops perseverance. Your love will be my blanket and a pillow for my head and the comfort I will feel to have all you have given me. I love you Lord-even with insomnia and unwelcome house guests!

Be blessed!

You must be exhausted today. Hope you sleep well tonight and get caught up.
As for the mouse I'm sure his days are numbered!

Give me a call next time your up late..... I wake up every hour or two every single night?!
As for your house guest... this is why I have an outside cat. It really works! Living in the country and next to fields I use to always have an unwelcome friend... for the last two winters I have been guest free!
Hope you sleep well tonight my friend.

One in the morning for me and my son has a fever. I just can't relax when they run a fever in the middle of the night. I feel like I have to watch them and make sure all is well. I am so keyed up and I am not even sleepy.
